Ármin Szabó-Székely
Ármin Szabó-Székely (1987) graduated in 2012 from the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest with a degree in dramaturgy, and completed his internship at the Volksbühne in Berlin. He has been working at Katona József Theatre since 2014 and has been a member of the ensemble since 2023. As a theatre and dance dramaturg, alongside his work in Hungary, he has worked at, amongst others, the Teatro Stabile Torino, the Theater Bremen, the Kaunas National Theatre, the Landestheater Niederösterreich, the Schauspielhaus Graz, the Schauspielhaus Wien, the Helsinki Dance Company, Unlock Dancing Plaza in Hong Kong, the Schauspielhaus Stuttgart and the Dramaten in Stockholm. He received the Junior Prima Award in 2017 and the Tamás Bécsy Award in 2021. Between 2016 and 2021, he was a lecturer at the University of Theatre and Film Arts in Budapest, where he obtained his PhD in 2021. Since 2024, he has been a lecturer at the University of Pécs.
