This notice sets out the data processing and data protection principles of Katona József Színház Közhasznú Nonprofit Kft. (hereinafter referred to as the “Theatre”).

Purpose of data processing: The Theatre processes only personal data that is necessary for the provision of its services. Legal basis for data processing: the consent of the data subject.

The Theatre may engage third parties to process personal data, provided that the third party’s data processing and data protection practices comply with applicable legal requirements.

When purchasing tickets online for the Theatre’s programmes, the provision of personal data (name, telephone number, email address and postal address) is required. Data processor: Jegymester Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (1065 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 31.; Company Registration No. 01-09-369537).

When using the “Pártolói Kör” service, Katona József Színház Nonprofit Kft. uses personal data (name, telephone number, email address and postal address), or certain elements thereof, to provide information about the service and the Theatre’s programmes. Data processor: Jegymester Kereskedelmi és Szolgáltató Kft. (1065 Budapest, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út 31.; Company Registration No. 01-09-369537). Data retention period: 18 months.

For the purposes of its newsletter service, the Theatre has appointed The Rocket Science Group, LLC (675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE, Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA) as its authorised data processor. The information is stored on the www.mailchimp.com platform. Data retention period: until consent to data processing is withdrawn. For its newsletter service, the Theatre collects only users’ email addresses, which are strictly necessary for providing the service.

The Theatre uses cookies on www.katonajozsefszinhaz.hu to improve the user experience and to measure website traffic anonymously.
