"While writing, the writer usually builds from fantasy or personal memories. My memory is weak and I also don't think much of my fantasy: I prefer to work with a live model. I'm writing a "document", I'm drawing portraits of existing, special characters. This shape of a woman, Etelka, who speaks here if I did my job well, realistically, and quite like the homeless woman in Budapest living among us for real, whom I met, who told stories to me, introduced me to the drama of her life: we wrote this "tale" together. I can only guess the reason why she, Etelka opened up to me.

Obviously she wanted to escape from her infuriating loneliness by showing me her dead-end life. But I know better why I want to share Etelka's story: I'd like to break down the cold wall which excludes them from our civil everyday lives, the vegetating victims of our common life around us. Whether the source of our cruel destiny is "own fault" or the shameful result of the sins of us, the others, the lucky survivers, might be the smaller question. It is a more important and urgent task to show their aching wounds and to recruit help for them. Because we can only respect ourselves this way." (Zsolt Csalog)

In 1998, a girl called Andrea Fullajtár finished her studies at the University of Theater and Film Arts in the class of Gábor Zsámbéki. Her name had the be remembered immediately in the fourth year, because who else could be so brave (sassy??) to start her carrier with a monodrama at Kamra while there was still a university student title next to her name on the playbill? I Want Silence made it clear for the writers and the audience of this field that the girl standing (sitting) on this stage is not an insecure student anymore, but an actress already. We easily believed her that she was a homeless woman of undefined age while she was actually in her twenties. Because she was sitting, talking, listening, looking that way. Now, after twelve years, Fullajtár wants silence again. With several roles behind her back. Since then she has collected professional and personal experience. She drew again the life of Etelka with all of these. (Zsófi Rick)
