- triptichon -
Based on the works of Aeschylus, Euripides, Sophocles by Zsófia Varga and Jakab Tarnóczi
Where did the warfare start? Is there a point zero where the story can be changed, or must everything be as the ancient curse says: "Wretched sons are the sons of sinners, what their children inherit is lost, and their offspring are a disgrace. When they are born, they are born to a curse, and when they die, they are born to a curse"?
The play follows the story of a family riddled with silences and misunderstandings. The viewer becomes part of a marathon theatrical experiment: a series of plots spanning decades and generations. What leads the children to turn on each other? Are the ancient curses true, or do we fulfil them by invoking them to absolve ourselves? Who is to blame? Is it important who is to blame? Is there a way out of the complex web of resentments?
The performance is recommended for children over 16.
