A Doll's House by Ibsen opened on 20 December, directed by Kriszta Székely, the youngest resident director of the company. Onde day later, an adaptation of Die Blechtrommel (The Tin Drum) by Günter Grass was premiered, directed by young director, Máté Hegymegi, who specializes in physical theatre.

7 January marks our first premiere in 2017: Wir sind keine Barbaren! (We are not barbarians!) by acclaimed German playwright Philip Löhle was directed by versatile actor and director Vilmos Vajdai, a founding member of Katona and am iconic figure of Hungarian independent theatre scene.
